School Programs Only:
CPR & AED Training Classes can be requested by groups and organizations to learn how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and how to use an auto external defibrillator (AED). AED's are becoming more common in public places.

First Aid Training This training can be requested by groups and organizations to learn to recognize and respond to emergencies including shock, cardiac and breathing emergencies, heat and cold emergencies, sudden illnesses and poisonings. Additionally, participants will learn first aid for many minor injuries.

Fire Extinguisher Training This training can be requested by businesses, groups, and organizations to learn how to properly use a fire extinguisher.

Fire Safety Classes Fire Safety classes include instruction on stop, drop, and roll, smoke detector maintenance, and EDITH (Exit Drills in the Home). These classes can be requested by businesses, groups, and organizations.

Fire Evacuation Drills Fire department personnel will assist any business or resident with a fire evacuation plan by contacting the fire department.

Residential Smoke Detector Program Residents needing assistance with the testing or changing of batteries or proper placement of smoke detectors may contact the fire department for assistance.

Blood Pressure Screening Keep an eye on your blood pressure by stopping by the Fire Station, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and we will take your blood pressure.

Operation Prom Operation Prom is a mock accident sponsored by the Hampshire Fire Department to teach teenagers the consequences of drinking and driving.
High School Career Program This program is designed for high school students who may be interested in a firefighting career. This 2-day program gives the students hands-on experience in fire suppression and emergency medical situations.
Fire Truck Ride Home This program is done in conjunction with the St. Charles Borromeo School fundraiser and Hampshire Elementary School Fun Fair. One child from each school wins a ride home from school in a Fire Department Truck.
Fire Station Birthday Party Three children through community organizational fundraisers win a Fire Station Birthday Party each year. The child can invite up to nine friends to celebrate their birthday at the fire station.
