There are many times when we respond to a medical emergency and we are unable to obtain necessary medical information on the patient. Either the patient is unable to tell us themselves or their family members cannot remember all of the information. The "File of Life" Program aims to fix that by serving as a written document of a person's medical history and emergency contact information. Once the information card has been filled out, place it in the magnetic envelope and then place on your refrigerator. When we respond to homes for medical emergencies, we know to look at the refrigerator to see if the patient has one of these filled out so that we can obtain pertinent information. These are free of charge to our residents and may be picked up at the fire station at any time. If you would like more information, please call the fire station (847) 683-2629 or fill out the form below!
